Gryphons

Gryphons are half-lion, half-eagle creatures that bond with flyers from the kingdom of Poromiel. A group of gryphons is called a “drift.” Gryphons have riders as well and can channel and wield magic. They are not capable of weaving and powering wards like dragons. They cannot wield signets and lesser magic as strongly as dragons. They also cannot tolerate high altitudes.
